Technologies

	Breathable adds breathability to the total protection, high resistance, lightness and flexibility properties of the K SOLE sole. Breathable, the breathable anti-perforation insole, is a patented and exclusive product from Diadora Utility.
	Eva
	It is a transparent thermoplastic polyurethane film that fully envelops the EVA structure of the midsole, allowing high resistance to abrasion and thus guaranteeing a longer duration of the footwear over time.

	The revolution undertaken by Geox has been carried out after a long process of specific research, aimed at inventing a special membrane made of a microporous material, capable of absorbing sweat in the form of water vapor and expelling it through the sole perforated. The waterproof and breathable membrane allows the foot to breathe without water penetrating. In this way, a natural thermoregulation is produced, creating the ideal microclimate in footwear, thereby keeping the foot in a dry and healthy environment. Thermoregulation is guaranteed even in the hottest climatic conditions and throughout the most intense work activities. The flexibility ensures the highest comfort in any type of situation.
	The Perwanger® tannery is a leather tannery located in Auer (Bolzano), which has a long family tradition of more than two centuries, passed down from father to son, for more than five generations since 1780. Leather has superior characteristics waterproof, even in the most extreme use keep feet dry. The special fiber of the leathers means that even the most pointed rocks do not leave obvious marks on the shoes. All leathers act as a natural membrane, without allowing the passage of water and allowing the foot to breathe freely. The manufacturing method, unique in its kind, and passed down from father to son, makes the leather integrity last for a long time. The raw hides for the production of Nepal Perwanger suede are carefully selected, only from the grasslands of northern Europe and full grain, in order to guarantee the best resistance and perfect aesthetics.

The contact resistance of ESD footwear is below the level of antistaticity that is often demanded in industrial environments. Footwear should be worn when an electrostatic charge is formed that has to be discharged on the ground.
	Utility makes professional footwear with which an orthopedic insole can be used in compliance with the German standard DGUV REGEL 112/191, which regulates protective equipment for feet and knees. Diadora has certified, in collaboration with Hema, some models in compliance with the EN ISO 20345: 2011 standard, certified to maintain their safety characteristics with an orthopedic insole.
